Sizing

How to size

Accurate nail sizing is essential for achieving optimal fit and comfort when selecting nail sets. The following guidelines will assist you in determining the correct size for your nails. I will show you two ways to measure.

Quarter method: this is the easiest and fastest way to measure your nails but can be less accurate than the other methods mentioned below. when ordering select quarter sizing.

how it works: You will take a photo of your finger next to a quarter for scale allowing me to size your nails. The photos will need to be taken from a clear, bird's-eye view. Please email me the photos jellystarnailz@gmail.com along with first and last name and order number. You can also dm on instagram @jellystarnailz with your first and last name as well as your order number. I will then do the nail sizing for you from there and will reach out if any of the photo need to be retaken.

Second way to measure your nails:

You will need: a flexible/soft measuring tape

  • Step one: Ensure hands are clean and dry
  • Step two: Measure the width of your nail at its widest point  (just like the photo but with a soft tape measure)
  • Step three: Recored the measurement in millimeters (mm)
  • 1cm = 10mm
  • Repeat this process for each finger!

Third way to measure your nails:

You will need: Tape (preferably masking tape), And a ruler

  • Step one: Ensure hands are clean and dry
  • Step Two: Lay a piece of tape across the widest part of your nail and press down to account for any curvature
  • Step Three: Mark the edges of your nail on the tape with a pen
  • Step four: Place the tape on the ruler and measure the distance between each mark in millimeters (mm)
  • Repeat this process for each finger!

Once you have your measurements, refer to the sizing chart below to find your corresponding nail size.

If you are in between sizes, it it generally recommended to select the larger size for comfort. You can then file them down to fit your nail.
